Torrie and Carson tied the knot and danced the night away

What a great love story Torrie and Carson will have to tell future generations. Boy meets girl. They fall in love. Boy is a military man. Girl is attending college. They beat the odds and make long distance work. There’s a proposal. Wedding planning happens while being thousands of miles apart. But then they come together surrounded by the most important people in their lives and they commit to marriage, a lifetime together. The great thing is that if they can beat the challenges that come with a very long distance relationship, they can handle anything life throws at them.

You know just by the way Carson looks at Torrie that he would do anything for her. And Torrie is such a strong and beautiful woman who is head over heals in love with her man. I loved this wedding day! Because it was a true, giddy, butterflies in the stomach, pure kind of love. This day was about more than just the wedding itself, but about the whole marriage going forward. And those are the best kinds of wedding days. I couldn’t be more happy for Mr and Mrs Williams!

Pladna Wedding 10/20/18 {Sneak Peek}

To say Megan and Aaron were meant to be together is an understatement! They were so happy and so in love on their wedding day, and I know that love will last in their marriage for many years to come.

The weather wasn’t exactly what we were hoping for, but at the end of the day, it didn’t seem to matter much to anyone. Everyone had a wonderful time and Megan and Aaron had a beautiful wedding day!

I am so happy for the Mr & Mrs Pladna and am excited to share a sneak peek of their special day!

Happy Half Year Kate and Jason!

When I first met with Kate I knew immediately that I wanted to be there to photograph her wedding. So I crossed my fingers extra tight hoping she felt the same way! She was down-to-earth, kind, intelligent, and completely in love with her best friend. I could see it in her eyes how excited she was and how positively sure she was that she wanted to marry Jason. This is what I love about being a wedding photographer. It's the people who are so genuinely excited for their wedding to come, not for the party, but for the actual marriage that follows. Kate and Jason chose a time of year they loved at a little place they loved with the people they loved most in the world, and of course, each other. One of the most memorable details of the day was Kate's wedding dress. She combined her mother's wedding dress with her grandmother's dress to create her very own. It turned out absolutely perfect! The whole day was intimate, beautiful, sentimental and the start of a very long and happy marriage.
