The Roode Family | Eagle Point Park Family Session
Getting the whole family together for photos gets a little more complicated once everyone starts building lives in different places.
Karen's two sons now live out of state, so having everyone together in Clinton gave us the perfect opportunity to update their family photos. We met at Eagle Point Park and spent the evening around the castle with the whole crew.
And this crew brought plenty of personality with them. 😂
The kids definitely weren't afraid to be themselves, which is something I always love during family sessions. Of course we get the everyone-looking-at-the-camera photos, but I also want the silly expressions, interactions between cousins, and all the little things that show who everyone actually is right now. Those usually end up being some of my favorites.
There was also another reason this day was an especially fitting day to have the family together.
Karen and Mark were celebrating their wedding anniversary, but they weren't the only ones! Matthew and Molly share the exact same anniversary after choosing to get married on Karen and Mark's wedding anniversary. Two couples, two generations, and one pretty important date for this family.
Between everyone being together, two anniversaries to celebrate, and plenty of personality from the kids, there was a lot worth documenting that evening.
Thanks for spending part of your July 18th with me, Roode family! I'm so glad we could get everyone together and capture this version of your family while you were all in the same place. 🤍
