Boudoir with Artsmith

Feel confident, beautiful, and completely yourself

A boudoir session isn’t about changing who you are. It’s about seeing yourself in a way you might not have before. With gentle guidance, a relaxed environment, and zero pressure to be anything other than you, this experience is designed to bring out your confidence in the most natural way.

You don’t need to know how to pose.
You don’t need to feel “ready.”
You just need to show up.

This is more than just photos

Some people book a boudoir session as a gift. Some are celebrating a season of life. Some just want to feel good in their own skin again. There’s no right reason to do it.

If you’re feeling nervous, that’s completely normal. Most people do. You don’t need to know how to pose or have any experience in front of a camera. I’ll guide you through everything step by step.

The session itself is relaxed and low-pressure. We’ll talk, laugh, take breaks if needed, and move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. Nothing is forced, and everything stays within your comfort level.

By the end, you’ll see yourself a little differently. In a good way.

Getting Camera Ready

I don’t currently provide hair and makeup services, but I’m always happy to share trusted recommendations if you’d like them. If it’s within your budget, I highly recommend booking a makeup artist. It’s a great way to feel a little extra polished and taken care of going into your session.

For hair, simple tends to photograph best. Loose waves, a sleek style, or even a casual ponytail all work beautifully. It doesn’t need to be perfect, movement and a slightly undone look actually photograph really well.

As for outfits, bring a couple options that make you feel good. This could be lingerie, a bodysuit, an oversized sweater, a button-down, or even something more personal. If you’re not sure what to bring, I’m always happy to help you plan.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I book my session?
Start by filling out the inquiry form and I’ll be in touch with availability and next steps. To reserve your date, a 50% retainer is due at booking, with the remaining balance due by your session date.

When should I book my session?
I recommend booking as soon as possible, especially if you have a specific date in mind. A few weeks is the minimum, but my calendar opens up to 6 months in advance, so the sooner the better.

What if I don’t feel confident in my body?
You don’t have to feel confident before your session…that’s kind of the point. I’ll guide you in a way that highlights your best angles and helps you feel comfortable as we go.

What sizes do you work with?
All of them. Boudoir isn’t limited to a certain body type, and your session will be tailored to you.

I’m really nervous. Is that normal?
Completely normal. Almost everyone feels that way at first. It usually fades within the first few minutes once we get started, and by the end, most people are surprised by how comfortable they felt.

What if I don’t know how to pose?
You don’t need to. I guide you through everything—from big movements to small adjustments—so you’re never left wondering what to do.

Can I bring someone with me?
Absolutely. If having a friend there helps you feel more comfortable, you’re welcome to bring one along.

Can I bring a drink to calm my nerves?
If you’re 21+, you’re welcome to bring something. Totally optional, but definitely allowed.

Do you offer hair and makeup?
I don’t provide it directly, but I’m happy to recommend artists if you’d like help booking someone. I love to bring in a makeup artist for Besties sessions, but you would pay her directly.

What should I bring?
Bring 2–3 outfit options for a solo session, plus some extras if you’d like. This could be a robe, button-down, accessories, or something more personal. If you’re unsure, I’m happy to help you plan ahead of time.

Can I do an outdoor boudoir session?
Only on private property where privacy can be guaranteed. Most sessions take place in a studio setting for comfort and control.

Do you retouch images?
Yes, every image is lightly edited for color, lighting, and small distractions while still keeping you looking like you.

How long does it take to get my photos back?
Your gallery will be ready within 3 weeks of your session.

Will my photos be shared?
Only if you say yes. I’ll always respect your privacy, and nothing is shared without your permission.
