Because the truth is, those natural, genuine images everyone loves don’t happen by accident. They come from feeling comfortable, relaxed, and fully yourself in front of the camera.
That’s what I care about most.
Over the years, my couples often talk about their experience just as much as their photos. And it’s because when you feel at ease, it shows in every image. After 16 years and hundreds of weddings, I can say with confidence: it is absolutely possible to love how you look in your photos when you feel comfortable while they’re being taken.

Every wedding day is a little different, but most couples find that one of these experiences fits their plans really well. If you’re unsure, I’m always happy to help you think through your timeline and choose what will feel the most relaxed and complete.
And if your day calls for something a little different, we’ll figure it out together.

HOW MANY HOURS OF COVERAGE DO WE NEED?
Most couples find that 8 hours works well with a thoughtful timeline. If you’re wanting a more relaxed, all-day approach, the extended experience is a great fit. I’m always happy to help you figure out what makes the most sense.
WHAT IS YOUR SHOOTING STYLE?
A mix of guided and candid. I’ll step in when needed to keep things moving, and step back when it matters most so you can stay present. Think of me as part director, part fly-on-the-wall… with strong opinions about good lighting.
WHEN WILL WE GET OUR PHOTOS AND HOW MANY IMAGES CAN WE EXPECT?
Your full gallery will be delivered within 4-6 weeks. You can expect around 60 images per hour—often more.
WHAT IF WE’RE AWKWARD IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA?
You’ll be in good company! Most couples feel a little awkward at first, and that’s completely okay. I’ll guide you in a way that feels natural so you can just be yourselves.
WHAT HAPPENS IF OUR TIMELINE CHANGES?
Things shift, that’s a normal part of weddings. I’ll help you adjust as needed so everything still flows smoothly.
DO YOU TRAVEL FOR WEDDINGS?
Yes! I’m based in Clinton, Iowa, but I’m always open to travel. Travel within 50 miles is included, and for locations beyond that, a simple travel fee applies. Just reach out with your location and I’ll share the details.
DO YOU OFFER ENGAGEMENT SESSIONS ON THEIR OWN?
Yes! You don’t have to be booked for a wedding to schedule an engagement session.
If you do end up booking your wedding with me within 30 days of your session, I’ll credit that session toward your wedding collection.
WHAT HAPPENS IF SOMETHING GOES WRONG?
I come prepared for the unexpected. I always have backup cameras and equipment with me, and I’m connected with a trusted network of photographers who could step in if something serious were to prevent me from being there.
