The Karam-Misiewicz Family | Summer Family Session in Clinton, Iowa

One of the fun parts of photographing families over the years is never quite knowing what their crew will look like the next time I see them.

The Karam-Misiewicz family lives overseas, but Lauren is originally from Clinton, so I've been lucky enough to photograph them during their visits back to Iowa. It's always fun getting to catch up and see how much has changed since the last time they were here.

And this time, there was a brand new little face to meet! 🤍

Since their last session, they've welcomed a baby boy to the family, joining his two big sisters who have grown SO much since I last had them in front of my camera. I loved getting to meet the newest member of the crew and update their family photos while everyone was back in town.

We also had Lauren's parents join us for a few photos. When your family lives on different sides of the world, having everyone together is a pretty good reason to make sure Grandma and Grandpa get in front of the camera too.

That's one of the things I love about families coming back to me over the years. The photos from each session become a little snapshot of what their family looked like during that particular visit: babies get added, kids get bigger, and somehow another summer has already rolled around.
