Kyrsten + Isaak | Rockwood State Park Engagement Session

July engagement sessions in Iowa can be a bit of a gamble. Sometimes you get a beautiful summer evening... and sometimes summer decides to remind you exactly what month it is. 😂

Kyrsten and Isaak definitely got the second option.

We met at Rockwood State Park in Morrison for their engagement session on a HOT July evening, but these two handled it like champs. We wandered around the park, found some beautiful little spots along the way, and somehow they managed to make it look like we weren't all very aware of the temperature.

Rockwood is always a great spot for engagement photos because there's plenty of variety without having to travel all over the place. We could wander, stop when we found good light, and give Kyrsten and Isaak plenty of time to just hang out together in between photos.

But I think my favorite part of their session came toward the end when they changed into matching Green Bay Packers jerseys.

And not just any jerseys.

They both wore Jordan Love #10, which couldn't be more appropriate considering Kyrsten and Isaak will officially become husband and wife on 10/10. 💚💛

I always love when couples bring something into their engagement photos that actually feels like them. It doesn't have to be elaborate or perfectly styled. Sometimes it's as simple as throwing on matching jerseys and incorporating something you both enjoy into the session.

Kyrsten and Isaak were so easy to photograph together, and I love how their gallery turned out. Now we get to look forward to doing it all again when the #10s become Mr. + Mrs. on 10/10.
