Aubriana + Colin / an elegant & modern wedding celebration in Clinton, Iowa

One week ago today Aubriana and Colin had the wedding celebration of a lifetime! They gathered with friends and family in what was one of the most energetic and fun weddings I’ve photographed to date! Everything was so beautifully decorated - classic yet modern and chic. It really encompassed the style of the bride and groom, fitting perfectly with who they are as individuals and now as a newlywed couple!

While the anniversary they plan to celebrate will be May 30th, when they officially became husband and wife, I’m sure July 18th will always hold a special place in their hearts as well. It was the day they planned for many months. From the elegant pops of gold in their decor to the “Friends” inspired welcome sign, black and white photos of weddings past, special keepsakes adorning the most gorgeous bouquet I’ve ever seen, and many other personal touches, it was very much Aubriana and Colin’s special day.

This pandemic may have thrown a wrench (actually…the whole toolbox!) in their original plans, but they came together and figured out how to make the most of it and move forward with the most important part of a wedding - the marriage. As the maid of honor said in her toast, they have a big, crazy love and I think if anyone can use two wedding anniversaries to celebrate every year, it’s them!

Cheers to Colin and Aubriana and Congratulations again!!
