The Sikkemas / a cute & springy family session with a fun surprise ending

It was so nice to see these guys again! I’ve gotten to work with them a couple times now but this was the first time with just the Sikkemas.

I was so impressed with how well both kiddos did! They are the sweetest little brother and sister duo. Both kids had birthdays earlier this month so it was the perfect time to capture new family portraits.

I can’t decide which half of the session I liked best - the beautiful springy family shots or the super fun and unique second half!

Believe it or not, these are just my favorites so far. This gallery is going to be huge!

Okay sometimes my ideas flop… the kids did not like having flower petals thrown at them (but this shot is too funny to throw away) lol

I guess it’s exhausting being that handsome.

Note to families planning a session… pick an activity your kids love and incorporate it into your shoot. They have a blast and you get adorable action shots of your kids living their best lives! Win win!
