The Daniels Family | At-Home Newborn & Family Session

One of the best parts of photographing the same families over the years is getting to see where life takes them.

I first photographed Katie and Greg when they were engaged, and since then I've had the chance to watch their family grow through several different chapters. This time, I got to photograph them at home with their TWO girls!

We kept this session incredibly simple and stayed right in their own backyard. I love sessions like this because it’s home, it's familiar, and it's part of their family's story. And when you're photographing a toddler and a newborn, familiar is pretty great!

Layla got to explore, stay close to Mom and Dad, and even take a little swing break, which naturally turned into another photo opportunity. Sometimes the moments between the "planned" photos end up being just as cute as everything else.

Seeing families grow and marriages turn into this whole life they've built together is one of those parts of my job that I'll never take for granted.
