The Werderman Family | Extended Family Photos at Bickelhaupt Arboretum

What do you get someone for their 70th birthday? Family photos are a pretty great answer! 🤍

Jessica arranged an extended family session as a birthday gift for her mother-in-law, Diana, so we met up at Bickelhaupt Arboretum in Clinton, Iowa, to get everyone together for some updated pictures.

It had been about five years since their last family photos, and this was actually their first time doing an extended family session together!

Of course, getting everyone together for photos isn't always the easiest thing to fit into a busy schedule. Between baseball, basketball, tumbling, and everything else the kids have going on, there's a lot to coordinate. Ari actually had a baseball game to get back to that day, so I'm glad they were able to squeeze in some photos before heading off to the next activity!

I think one of the best things about giving family photos as a gift is that it's something everyone gets to enjoy. Diana gets updated photos with her kids and grandkids, the rest of the family gets pictures together, and years from now, they'll have a record of what their family looked like at this particular stage.

And considering how quickly kids grow, five years can make a pretty big difference!

Happy 70th birthday, Diana! I hope you love having these photos of your family, and thanks to the whole Werderman crew for spending part of your busy day with me! 🤍
