Voss Family / Welcome Baby Sister Collins

There’s always a certain kind of energy when I walk into the Voss home. Some of it is the light, soft and welcoming. Some of it is the laughter, which arrives before you’ve even set your purse down. And some of it is the history we’ve built together, starting all the way back with Grayson’s newborn session.

This time, the magic had a new name: Collins.

She’s the first baby girl in the family, and while the Voss crew would have been just as excited for any new arrival, there was something especially sweet about this one. Alli has been surrounded by boy energy for years—three big brothers (Grayson, Leo, and Rory) and, of course, her husband Michael. When Collins arrived, it felt like the universe had just handed her a new chapter she’d been hoping to read.

The boys’ reactions were their own. Grayson proudly hopping into as many shots with Collins as possible, Leo and Rory orbiting in their own ways. Real family sessions are like that: equal parts joy, chaos, and the occasional deep sigh from mom.

We photographed in their beautiful new home—new as of last year—but already worn in with memories. There’s space for everyone now, both in square footage and in spirit, which is exactly what you need for a family of six. The rooms are lived in. The kind of lived in that comes from daily life with kids, dogs, and the occasional spilled juice box. It’s a home where you can kick off your shoes and know you’re surrounded by love.
