Monica / a Boudoir Shoot at Wild Rose Resorts in Clinton, Iowa

Huge thank you to Monica for letting me share her amaaaaazing boudoir shoot! This woman is crazy gorgeous and I had such a great time taking her portraits! Want to see what a full session looks like? Check out her pictures below!

Here’s what to expect when you book a spot at one of my boudoir marathons!

You’ll probably be kind of nervous. It’s okay, everyone is! The nerves won’t last forever. As soon as we start, they’ll quickly fade!
You’ll be greeted by Nikki, the lovely and talented makeup artist I’ve enjoyed working with for these shoots! Help yourself to a glass of wine or mix up a mimosa before she starts asking you some questions about the look you’re going for.
While you’re getting glammed up, I’ll be in another room taking photos but I’ll try to pop out and say hi during an outfit change! I’ll also be working with an assistant who will come check on you and promptly refill your glass anytime!
I’ll be out to get you when it’s time to get started and we can discuss the outfits you brought. If you need help narrowing down choices, we’ll do that and then decide on the order. I recommend 2 outfits (with a potential 3rd if there’s time) and some sort of robe or dress to start!
I’ll give you the run-down of what to expect, tips for posing, and answer any of your questions if you have them.
I’ll get you comfortably in the first pose (we’ll start with an easy one!) and begin capturing your awesomeness!
You can expect to see your gallery within about 2 weeks. This is when you can choose your top 12 images and order additional products if you wish. Once I get your picks, I’ll begin designing your mini accordion book. These are little 3x3 pocket books that are included with the shoot and a perfect gift for your partner or yourself!
The books usually arrive in a couple weeks and I will either ship it or hand deliver it to you if you’re local. After this, I will send you MY favorites and ask permission to share them. If you say no, the answer is no, I 100% understand and I will never share them publicly! If you say go for it, I’ll thank you profusely! :)
